Morehouse Beer Cheese
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whole milk or half-and-half
- 2/3 cup beer (preferred choice)
- 2 tablespoons Atomic Horseradish (or Morehouse Prepared Horseradish)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Morehouse Yellow Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour to make a paste.
- Slowly whisk in milk and beer until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Add beer, Horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, Morehouse Yellow Mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
