Atomic Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients

Shrimp

  • 24 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

Atomic Cocktail Sauce

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Atomic Horseradish
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Season the Shrimp

  • In a bowl, toss shrimp with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne.

2. Sauté the Shrimp

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and lightly golden.
  • Sprinkle parsley over the shrimp and toss briefly.
  • Transfer shrimp to a plate and place in the fridge to chill.

3. Make the Atomic Cocktail Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix ketchup, Atomic Horseradish, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (if using), and salt.
  • Taste and adjust horseradish for more heat.

4. Assemble & Serve

  • Divide cocktail sauce into serving bowls or martini glasses.
  • Arrange chilled shrimp around the rim or serve on a platter.
